We are asked frequently what vaccinations we give here at mockingbird hill. The following is our Vaccination & de-worming Schedule.
2 weeks - Pyrantel dewormer, Marquis for coccidia
4 weeks - Pyrantel dewormer, Marquis for coccidia
5 weeks - Neopar Parvo Vaccination, Vangard DA2MP(distemper,measles, adenovirus, & parainfluenza), Frontline (flea & mite protection)
6 weeks - Pyrantel dewormer, Marquis for coccidia
7 weeks - Progard 5 (distemper, adenovirus, parainfluenza, parvo), Progard -KC (Kennel Cough) & visit to the vet for well puppy check.
We feel it is important to get two rounds of vaccine in the puppy before it leaves here. We understand that you like to take your puppy with you to show it off . It is important that your puppy be completely immunized before he heads out into the pet stores, veterinary offices, or even a stop at the rest area. Parvo and distemper are airborne diseases, so if you happen to come in contact with an infected animal your chances without protection may be very good of picking up the dreaded diseases. We, here at Mockingbird, want to make sure that you have the healthiest pet available.
You will not be done giving immunizations or deworming your pet after you receive it. Be sure to take it to your veterinary within the first 10 days so that he can recommend the vaccinations, de-wormings & flea protection that he prefers.
Don't forget: spay or neuter at 6 months of age.
We guarantee your puppy for the first 10 days after he reaches your care. You must take him to your veterinary within this time period for a well puppy check. If you find anything wrong with your puppy, take him to the vet immediately. Then call us. Failure to do this will make our contract with you void.
We guarantee our puppies for life threatening genetic defects for a period of two years. Should you find a problem, we will give $200 toward surgery or replace the puppy whichever you prefer. It is our intention to breed only quality, healthy puppies.
